Friends of Sebastian Inlet State Park

  Fishing
Sebastian Inlet and the surrounding waters provide excellent fishing, shrimping and clamming.  Catwalks under the inlet bridge as well as two jetties offer convenient locations for anglers.  A variety of saltwater fish are caught in both the Atlantic Ocean and the Indian River.  A saltwater fishing license may be required.  Please ask a ranger.  Information on fishing regulations is available.

  Boating
The park marina offers short and long-term boat dockage.  No live-aboard at this time.  Power boat rentals, snacks, rent canoes, kayaks, row boats, Eco tours and charter fishing are available.

  Water Sports
Three miles of ocean beach are designated for swimming, surfing, snorkeling and scuba diving.  Spearfishing is prohibited.  One of the best surfing sites on Florida's Atlantic coast, Sebastian Inlet hosts several national surfing tournaments every year.

  Camping
Fifty-one campsites with electricity and water overlook the inlet.  To camp, enter the park on the south side of the inlet bridge. For reservations call 1-800-326-3521.

  Turtle Walks
Several times a week during June and July, visitors may accompany a ranger on a nighttime search for nesting loggerhead turtles.  Reservations for June's turtle walks are taken on May 15, starting at 8AM.  July's reservations are taken on June 15, starting at 8AM. For reservations call:(321) 984-4852.
 
 

Concession
Adjacent to the beach picnic area is the park concession.  In addition to serving breakfast and lunch daily, the concession sells a variety of camping and fishing supplies including drinks, snacks, ice, fishing licenses and bait.  Beach and fishing rental equipment are also available.
